Abstract

Isolate ten from hospital environment, six from nasal cavity mucose in student. Sixteen isolate were positive in coagulase, catalase and manitol hydrolysis, these stains were identification use commercial kit(ID 32 STAPH) to Staphylococcus aureus.
Eight strains showed MRSA in sixteen detected antibiotic sensitivity.
Four strains(]-10, 23, 24, 37) detected mecA gene in PCR but four strains(]-4, 34, 42, 43) not detected, eight MRSA in antibiotic sensitivity.
As a result of this study, we can clearly see that PCR provide more useful tools, rapid and precise for detection MRSA than antibiotic sensitivity.
